I painted this specifically for the perspective, looking towards Ayres Rock (Uluru). Also I found the striking contrasts with the cool Blue sky and hot Red sand rather stunning.
Uluru stands proud in the middle of the Australian Desert with its brilliant orange rockface The Rock dates back 500 million years.
